Deep ganglia AVM with several episodes of bleeding and multiple aneurysms on the single outflow vein, to be treated by arterial approach and pressure cooker technique

  • Ruptured deep ganglia AVM
  • Patient with left hemiparesis
  • Single outflow vein with flow related aneurysms
  • 2 previous sessions of embolization

Treatment strategy

  • Transarterial approach via the posterior circulation
  • Navigation with Sonic and Magic of the postero-lateral choroidal feeder
  • Pressure cooker technique and embolization with Squid
